The Web 2.0 training session

Coming from a technology background, i did not know that i would enjoy the session on web communications strategising. It gave me a good background from which to develop a business case for the exploitation of Web 2.0 technologies. This shall be used to develop a proposal for applying technology to solve HIV and AIDS problems.

3 Learning Points
  • A communications strategy should be integrated into the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Always create a business case for technology as use it to harness resources for the project
  • The power of an organisational blog comes out when the top echelons of the organisation start blogging because users feel that they get an insight into the strategic direction of the organisation.
